WIND GENERATORS MODELS: Whisper
100, 900W
Formerly the Whisper H40, the Whisper 100 has been updated for 2005
with new features and added flexibility for your renewable energy system. Now,
any Whisper 100 can have its voltage changed, 12-48V DC, within a few minutes in
the field. The Whisper 100 is designed to operate in a site with medium to high
wind speed averages of 12 mph, 5.4 m/s, and greater. The 100 provides 100+ kWh
per month, 3.4 kWh per day, in a 12 mph average wind Whisper
200, 1000W
Formerly the Whisper H80, the Whisper 200 has been updated for 2005 with new
features and added flexibility for your renewable energy system. Now, any
Whisper 200 can have its voltage changed, 12-48V DC, within a few minutes in the
field. The Whisper 200 is designed to operate in a site with low to medium speed
averages of 8 mph, 3.6 m/s, and greater. The 200 provides 200+ kWh per month,
6.8 kWh per day, in a 12 mph average wind. Whisper
500, 3000W
Serious power from a medium size small wind turbine – The Whisper
500 can produce enough energy to power an entire home. Formerly the Whisper 175,
the Whisper 500 was completely redesigned in 2004 to work in harsh high wind
environments. The Whisper 500 is a two bladed fiberglass reinforced blade and
incorporates the patented side furling design that optimizes output at any wind
speed. Assuming a 12 mph (5.4 m/s) wind, a Whisper 500 will produce as much as
500 kWh per month. That is enough energy to power the average home. |
