The OUTBACK FX
& VX Series true sinewave inverter/charger is a complete power
solution. It incorporates a DC to AC true sinewave inverter, battery
charger and AC transfer switch all housed within a die-cast aluminum
chassis. “Smart” multistage battery charging means less generator “on”
time, and extends the life of your batteries. Outback’s modular system
architecture permits flexibility allowing small systems the ability to
increase the power output as the demand grows from 2 to 30kW - even in
3-phase configurations. Non-volatile memory retains all programming
information even when the inverter isn’t on.
The FX series
uses a sealed chassis that can operate in the harshest environmental
conditions such as high humidity and corrosive salt air - excellent for
coastal and marine installations.
The VFX series
uses a vented chassis with “bug proof” screened openings that allow

HUB SYSTEM
The HUB system communications
managers are the backbone of networked OutBack power conversion
system. The OutBack HUB communicates stacking (operating a number of
inverters in parallel or 3-phase), load share and power save off/on
signals. Through the use of a HUB, your system can be widely
coordinated and managed by the MATE.
