Applications:
Stand alone photovoltaic installations with up to 3kW module
performance. Standard nominal system voltage 12, 24 and 48V. Used in
professional photovoltaic installations, particularly telecommunications
systems, radio- and TV- booster stations, directional radio installations. Also
used in autonomous household energy supply.
Specific voltages and models provided on request.

General Information :
The solar charge regulators SLRI30/145 include proven
charge regulator functions, several technical innovations and numerous
additional features.
Batteries with liquid electrolytes may suffer a sulfating of electrodes and
separation of acid layers if they are exclusively charged below the gassing
voltage (especially in batteries with high walls).
Consequence: A loss of capacity and damage to electrodes. The final voltage can
be increased periodically by controlling the time and voltage of the charge. A
brief and controlled gaseous mixing of electrolytes can thus be obtained,
preventing the damage mentioned above.
Operation: A long-term timer deploys periodically to increase the final voltage
every fifteen days to 2.6V/cell. A short-term timer kicks in if the battery
voltage has increased during gassing charge (i.e.>2.4V/cell) and integrates
the gassing time until the gassing voltage is reduced - about three hours later.
